Marie Kůsová’s Solo Exhibition at Pragovka Hub.

All of the objects and subjects listed in the title of the exhibition On Houses, Ambulances, Airplanes, Ladders, Dogs and People do not appear randomly in Marie’s work; they form the stories and structure of the relationships of her everyday life. The link is the vibrant color palette and the joy of encounter.

Marie Kůsová (1949) lives and works in Prague. She has been painting continuously since 2010. At the moment she works in Studio Barvolam’s shared studio. She has participated in a number of joint exhibitions (including the DOX Centre for Contemporary Art in Prague and Hangaram Art Museum in Seoul, South Korea). She is also involved with Barvolam’s Jamming project, based on the principle of collective painting.
